Lliam Rooney

Lliam Rooney is a Kent based photographer who specialises in botanical photography.

Lliam’s main passion is for wild flowers which make up the majority of his work; however non-flowering plants, in particular Mosses and Liverworts is an area he hopes to significantly expand upon. This year Lliam has been focusing mainly on Trees and Shrubs. His aim is to photograph all the native species and to build up an impressive library of garden specimens.

Lliam has recently had some of his work published in Miles Irving's book 'The Forager Handbook, a guide to the edible plants of Britain.'

Apart from floral images for specimen form, Lliam is aiming to branch out for the more creative end of the market to include images for advertising, greetings cards etc. and will be increasing his library of garden flowers and abstract images.

Lliam is also involved with and a member of Plantlife, a charity dedicated to the preservation of wild flowers.
